Dmitriy Usenko and Kim Jones will be participating in the Raleigh LUNGe Forward 5K Run, 1K Walk & Rally benefiting the Lung Cancer Initiative of North Carolina. Dmitriy (UNC Clinical Research Coordinator) and Kim are teaming up this year to raise as much awareness and funding as they can for the Lung Cancer Initiative of North Carolina. Dmitriy is invested in every way to help his lung cancer clinical trial patients get the best of care UNC has to offer, while advancing the drugs available for those battling this disease. Kim has been affected by Lung Cancer personally with the loss of her Grandmother, Mother and Father to Lung Cancer and has been fighting for her health since April of 2014.
Lung Cancer has been the Number #1 Cancer killer since 1987, yet funding has not kept up with it’s mortality rate. We need to save lives and provide support to those affected by lung cancer through research, awareness, education and access programs. Your tax-deductible contribution will fuel medical discovery, increase survival and provide a network for hope and action for those affected by lung cancer in our community.
